Of the five different designs for common occlusal appliances, the anterior only are one of the most popular and one of the most discussed for its risks. They can be an incredibly efficient and effective appliance design. Despite appearing “easy”, working with this design involves great pre-op diagnosis and post-op management strategies to help patients and manage risks. In this online program we will review the clinical situations where an anterior only might be a diagnostic and therapeutic option, fabrication, delivery and ongoing management.
