Join the Coalition for African Americans in the Performing Arts (CAAPA) for an unforgettable evening celebrating culture, creativity, and community. The Melody of Art Reception will be held on Wednesday, September 24th, at the beautiful Wellspring Manor in Prince George’s County. The reception begins at 6:00 PM, with guests invited to enjoy an elegant evening of live performances, curated art experiences, and inspiring tributes honoring extraordinary contributions to the arts. This year’s distinguished honorees include the legendary Dr. George Shirley, alongside other acclaimed awardees who have shaped and elevated Black artistic expression. Attire: Garden Party Chic.
