Beginner Brush Lettering 04 September

Have you always wanted to try calligraphy but think your handwriting isn't good enough? Worry no more, my fun and friendly workshop will banish all your concerns.

This brush lettering for beginners takes you through the basic strokes and steps to develop your lettering skills slowly and concisely. There will be plenty of time to practice and get some 1:1 help from your tutor. Modern calligraphy has the added bonus of being a script that does not have the same strict guidelines of more traditional calligraphy. You can develop your own style and enjoy the complete relaxation that calligraphy is known for.

We will explore some beautiful colour blending techniques and using a workbook that is yours to keep, you will have the opportunity to use templates to trace and copy giving you confidence to create your own stunning projects.

Finally you will learn how to create your own environmentally friendly wrapping paper gift tags and cards that can be used for all sorts of occasions.

All equipment and materials are included and you will receive a take away kit including your workbook and a brush pen
