Water Street Festival to Bring Art, Music, and Community Spirit to
Kerrville Historic Downtown Business Alliance
KERRVILLE, TEXAS – The Water Street Festival is a celebration of art, music, heritage and local culture, set to take place in downtown Kerrville on October 25, 2025. The new Festival is designed
to bring people together and activate the historic Main Street district.
“The Water Street Festival is more than a street fair — it’s a downtown block party celebrating Kerrville’s cultural heartbeat,” said Delayne Sigerman, Event Chair. “It connects local business, artists, neighbors, and families for a shared experience of community pride.”
Set in historic downtown and adjacent to shops and galleries, the Festival offers a walkable and welcoming setting for all ages. Storefronts will extend their spaces into the streets for a curated day of pop-up shops, music, kid’s activities, open-air food and drink tastings, all full of local flavor and small-town charm.
One of the Festival’s attractions will be interactive plein air art. This 4-day painting competition begins with 50 talented artists from over the United States. Artists will paint within the constraints of time and sunlight. On the last day, Saturday October 25th, the public will be welcomed into the Kerr Arts & Cultural Center to see the results while the paintings are very fresh.
“Lending a hand or sponsoring is a great way to support and be part of something meaningful.” remarked Lanza Teague, Executive Director for Kerr Arts & Cultural Center and Festival Committee Member.
The Festival is powered by local volunteers, and organizers are currently recruiting for support with the children’s parade and activities. Water Street Antiques is set to be the 2025 headline supporter. For sponsorship inquiries, volunteer sign-up, and vendor applications, please contact
