About Kimimila Returns:
Zahra, a 12-year-old fern-leaf-sized scraebin who is also a special fairy, faces her biggest challenges yet on her quest to save her kind—and possibly all creatures on Earth. Upset she may have to move, she unknowingly hails an elder fairy who then helps her strengthen the skills she needs to convene a diverse team of fairies, scraebins, heart animals, and humans. With an army of support, Zahra discovers the confidence to overcome a darkness that threatens to destroy her path to success.

Set in the Birkhead Wilderness of the Uwharrie Mountains in central North Carolina, Kimimila Returns is the fourth book in the award-winning Zahra of the Uwharries series that chronicles Zahra’s unique and critical role in saving her species.
