Hal Brown Park at Creekside
250 Bon Air Road, Kentfield, United States
Join us in restoring important salmonid habitat by removing invasive plants and planting natives like pickleweed and big saltbush. Together we will enhance the tidal marsh's health by increasing plant diversity, water filtration, and soil quality. This tidal marsh is home to several threatened species including Steelhead trout, salt marsh harvest mice, and Ridgeway's rails. This is a great hands-on opportunity to learn about the importance of native plants and contribute to the health of our park. Coffee and lunch will be provided!
Please only RSVP if you will be able to make it as there is limited capacity for the event. After you have a ticket, please fill out this regarding your lunch preferences.
Event will occur rain or shine, but may cancel if there is extreme weather. If in doubt, please text or call 562-396-3727 two hours before the event to confirm the status.
