The word Liminal comes from the Latin “limen," meaning threshold. It’s the space in-between, the doorway between what was and what has yet to come.
The word liminal means relating to a sensory threshold; barely perceptible. It also means relating to an intermediate state or phase, the “in between.”
This is the sacred place that you keep your heart and intuition open, taking what resonates with you and allowing that whisper from your higher self to guide you.
The Liminal Path is a threshold state - not fully in the past, not yet in the future. Examples include: dusk and dawn, the shoreline where ocean meets sand, the pause between breaths, transitions in life like marriage, divorce or graduation, even loss of a loved one.
As the spiritual beings that we are, this matters to all of us. These are the spaces to connect to higher consciousness. When our mind is not on one fixed state we can recognize the Spirit within us, and also in others.
