This event is part of a wider initiative to converse aerial insectivore species, with a focus on tree swallow monitoring and banding on PEI.
We are PEI Watershed Groups working in collaboration with experts to help conserve declining aerial insectivores.
-Monitoring and banding tree swallows Island-wide.
-Providing safe nesting habitat for declining aerial insectivore species.
-Educating community members on tree swallow conservation and what you can do to help!
Thank you to our presenters, the Stanley Bridge Women's Institute, as well as the PEI Wildlife Conservation Fund for making all of this possible!
If you would like to support the PEI Wildlife Conservation Fund to help initiatives like this you can do so when you purchase angling, trapping and hunting licences, as well as when you purchase a conservation licence plate.
