Greetings, Friends of the Prairie,
Saturday, October 18, we will again split the volunteers between seed collecting and brush cutting/stacking for winter burning. The prediction is for cloudy with occasional showers ,with a high of 69 degrees. Winds are expected to be SW at 10 to 15 mph. Wear old clothes, sturdy shoes or boots, hats and gloves. We supply tools, water, instructions, and answers to all your questions about the Prairie.
The Saturday workday is from 9 AM to 12 PM. Come for part or all of it.
PLEASE: Arrive 10 minutes early to sign-in
We will meet on 2nd Avenue at 122nd Street near the gate.
