Meet & Greet with Haley Valenta

Published Kenosha poet Haley Valenta will be celebrating the release of her newest book, "Final Girl", at Blue House Books on Saturday, November 1st from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A collection of poetry about healing and growth, Haley's books have been described as beautiful, free-flowing, vulnerable, and raw.

Haley will be chatting with readers and signing books, so stop by anytime during the event to meet this Kenosha author!


About FINAL GIRL:

"Final Girl" is a collection of poetry centered around mental health, self-discovery, and relationships. Its lyrical form will carry you through what it means to find yourself in the aftermath of depression and losing a friendship.


About HALEY VALENTA:

Haley Valenta is a published poet from Kenosha, WI. Ever since the first grade, she has been determined to make her author dream come true (and she did). She started with writing lyrics in elementary school and then dabbled in a variety of genres before finding her home in poetry during her college years. She believes poetry should be complex but also touch the hearts of readers, and she works toward finding that balance whenever she writes.
