We are excited to share with you that following our hugely successful Christmas Dinner Giving Tree initiative in 2024, we will be relaunching it again for 2025🎄
This isn't a Giving Tree like others you'll see, as our Giving Tree gives the gift of Christmas dinner! 🍗🥔🥕🥦
In Scotland, over 1/4 of families will face poverty this Christmas, with 1/5 of families struggling to afford a Christmas dinner.
Park Primary Parent Council, in partnership with our House Captains and Vice captains, want to provide an opportunity to help those most in need this Christmas.
Our Giving Tree 🎄 will be available from 3rd of November through to 3rd of December, including both parents nights and Christmas Market at Park Primary.
If you are in a position to do so, you will have the opportunity to purchase a tag from our tree and we will turn those tags into Christmas Dinners for our Park families.
You will have the choice to purchase:
carrots, sprouts, Yorkshire puddings or gravy for £1 each,
Roast potatoes, pigs in blankets or a pudding for £2,
A crown / joint of chicken or crackers for £5,
Or an entire Christmas dinner for a family of 4, for £10.
The dinners will be frozen to allow us to distribute these before school finishes up for the Christmas holidays and we will make any spare Christmas Dinners available to those who express interest should we have them.
