Play Before Words improv workshop

This workshop explores the expressive power of improvisation without relying on spoken language. Participants will engage in physical storytelling, mime, gibberish, object work, and emotional embodiment to build intuitive connection and creative confidence.

Designed especially for intercultural contexts, this workshop is ideal for performers working in a second language, where verbal improvisation can be intimidating or limiting. By shifting the focus to movement, sound, and ensemble presence, participants discover new ways to connect, communicate, and create with clarity and emotional depth.

The session culminates in a collaborative, improvised sound-and-motion ensemble piece built entirely from physical and vocal play.

在工作坊尾聲，學員將共同創作一件即興的「聲畫」作品，此作品將完全源於肢體和聲音的玩樂。
