If you’re a Veteran, son or daughter of a Veteran, or just want to join a group of locals who want to help Veterans and our great Kennebunkport Community, Come Join Our Team.
Kennebunkport American Legion Post 159 is hosting a Legion Muster, at the Legion Hall, October 2nd, 2025, in order to build our membership, so that anyone who wants to join, has the opportunity.
Why Join Us? We attract some great people that look out for each other and the people in our community. We celebrate our Country’s military heritage, our patriotism, and our love of Kennebunkport, and we are not a political organization. We honor our fallen (wreaths and flags in our cemetery), we celebrate our heroes (annual Dock Square Memorial Day ceremony), we raise money to award academic scholarships to our community’s students, we provide service opportunities to our students, we help locals in need, and we do so much more.
We’re a proud local organization devoted to bettering our community - you gotta ask yourself, “why shouldn’t I join?”
