Kirk and Kent

KENDALIAN AUTUMN WALKS started last Sunday and run every Sunday until the end of October. The first walk was "Yards and Yarns' with 18 walkers and this walk will repeat on 26 October.

The next walk is "Kirk and Kent' on 14 Septmber at 3pm and will explore the fascinating history of the original settlement of Kirkby Kendal, the Church and monastic past, Yards, Ginnels, Maypole, Old Grammar School, Taverns, Opium trade (!) and the Holy Well.
