Join the O.S.T.R.I.C.H.E.S. for a trivia night at the pub where your brain will be tested, your assumptions will be questioned, and your laughter will be peer-reviewed.
We’ll quiz you on ostrich scams, logical fallacies, government ‘outreach’, and all sorts of “sciencey facts” that definitely sound true… until they aren’t. Expect plenty of debunking on suspicious claims, skeptical side-eye, and of course prizes for the top team (2–3 people).
Flying solo? No problem, we’ll pair you up with other brilliant skeptics.
WHO are we?
We’re the Okanagan Skeptics, Testers, Rationalists, Independents, Critical Thinkers, Humanists, Evidence-Seekers, and Science Lovers—a.k.a. the OSTRICHES.
Our mission?
To eradicate useless protests, the worship of misinformation, GoFundMe scams, wilful ignorance, and the visual clutter of street corners and overpasses.
