Nuit Blanche: Many Tongues @ Studio on Water

Studio on Water is thrilled to host this vibrant celebration of language and creativity! In collaboration with the literary arts nonprofit Inspired Word Café, the Centre Culturel Francophone de l’Okanagan, and Espaces Francophones, the evening promises to be warm, welcoming, and full of linguistic diversity. Enjoy a rich mix of poetry, storytelling, and music performed in multiple languages, followed by a plurilingual open mic where aspiring performers can share across language boundaries. Last year, readers presented works in 11 different languages, including French, English, Tagalog, Portuguese, and more. The event is hosted bilingually in French and English, with priority for the open mic given to French and other bilingual speakers.
