At Believe & Belong in Veterinary Medicine Youth Pathways, you’ll:
Lead VETlab substations diving into topics like large animal practice, orthopedic surgery, and more
Serve as a Team Captain or “floater,” guiding students through stations and connecting with future veterinary talent
Inspire curiosity, offer real-world insights, and share your journey and expertise

Volunteer Details
What to expect: Virtual orientation 2-4 weeks before. On the day, you’ll teach, guide, answer questions, help set up and break down stations.
Dress code: Scrubs encouraged; comfortable and professional.
Time commitment: Arrive at 7 AM for setup; the event runs from 9 AM–3 PM.
Food & refreshments: Light breakfast, lunch, and refreshments will be provided (with allergy / dietary options).

Veterinary professionals from Texas and surrounding states who are passionate about education, mentorship, and inclusivity. Clinical and non-clinical roles welcome. Whether you’re comfortable teaching a lab station or more interested in student guidance and support, there’s a place for you.
