Papermaking with Invasive Plants

Artist Laura R. Post is bringing her popular Papermaking with Invasive Plants classes back to the Fort Worth Public Library at the Golden Triangle Branch. Immerse yourself in the often-messy hands-on processes to create something fun and unique!

𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝗯_𝗔𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀@𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝘁𝗲𝘅𝗮𝘀.𝗴𝗼𝘃 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿. This free workshop is designed for adults 18 and older. Space is limited and advance registration is required.

Through the process of forming sheets of paper, participants will learn about the history of papermaking as well as the plants and ecology of the region. Participants will also have the opportunity to create pulp paintings by layering the various plant pulps together to form their own designs. All materials are provided.
