Friday Working Hike on the Long Pond Trail

Are you looking for an outdoor adventure while giving back to the community? Join Champlain Area Trails for a Friday Working Hike at the Long Pond Trail. This is considered an easy trail, featuring a beautiful pond and shoreline views. Expect to walk up to 4 miles.

During this working hike, we will engage in trail maintenance activities such as lopping, hand sawing, string-trimming, and cleaning up the trail, making it safer and more enjoyable for all hikers.

To participate, please register by 6:00 PM the day before the event by emailing dG9ueSB8IGNoYW1wbGFpbmFyZWF0cmFpbHMgISBjb20=. You are also welcome to join us without prior registration; just meet us at the trailhead at 9:00 AM on Friday.
