Standing Proud in Kansas: The Ladies Columbian Club Corn Fountain Story

Did you know that Radically Rural is in town? An annual conference that brings people who love rural places from all over the country to shape and share ideas about rural life is coming to Madame Sherri's at 9pm on October 8th for a special story time break (during karaoke) all the way from Kansas about a well-endowed local monument that has stood the test of time.

This symbolic, half-stripped, generously sized corn-shaped monument was conceived to show the world the strength and size of Kansas agriculture, a history that continues today.

Come for the innuendos, stay for the history, and get to know some wicked cool folks while you're at it!
