Join us September 26-28 at The World Theatre in Kearney, the only theatre in Nebraska to host The Manhattan Short Film Festival!!
MANHATTAN SHORT has announced the Final Ten selections for its 28th Annual Short Film Festival, a worldwide event taking place in over 500 venues across six continents between September 25 and October 5, 2025. MANHATTAN SHORT is the only event of its kind. The Ten Finalists will screen simultaneously across the world during a one-week period, with the Best Film and Best Actor awards determined by ballots cast by the audiences in each participating venue. By virtue of their selection by MANHATTAN SHORT, each short film is automatically Oscar-qualified.

The Ten MANHATTAN SHORT Finalists hail from seven countries with films from Spain, Irael, United Kingdom, Norway, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Mexico, alongside three films from the USA. "These ten short films bring a much-needed positive energy to the world!" says Nicholas Mason, founding director of Manhattan Short Film Festival.
