Ever wondered what would happen if you took Bram Stoker’s legendary vampire tale and put it into a blender with Mel Brooks and Monty Python? Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors is a fast-paced, comedic reimagining of Stoker’s tale, filled with slapstick humor, wordplay, and theatrical hijinks.
The story follows Count Dracula as he attempts to conquer England, but his plans are constantly thwarted by a cast of eccentric characters, including an overly dramatic Dr. Jean Van Helsing, a bumbling Jonathan Harker, and a Mina Murray, who is far more formidable than expected. This gender bending romp parodies both horror and classic stage tropes, and turns the Gothic staple into a riotous farce.
Presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals.
Suitable for mature youth and adults.
