Triple P Workshop - Cooperating wtih Instructions

For parents/carers of children in Kindy - Year 2

It’s normal for children to want to make their own choices and to test the limits sometimes, but uncooperative behaviour can be challenging for parents to manage. Boundaries and limits help children to be safe, get along with others, and develop self-control, and this workshop offers suggestions to help parents teach children to accept limits and cooperate with instructions.

This workshop will help parents to:
·Understand why children don’t follow instructions,
·Encourage cooperative behaviour,
·Teach children to follow instructions, and
·Respond to uncooperative behaviour.
