Hope Rises is a national sunrise meet created to raise awareness, connection and hope for those facing cancer.
This movement is inspired by and dedicated to Dakota Middleby, a 29-year-old whose strength and courage through her cancer journey has united communities across Australia. Her story reminds us how powerful connection, compassion, and hope can be when we rise together.
Here in Karratha, we’ll gather at Hearson's Cove for a calm morning walk by the ocean. A moment to connect, reflect, and stand in support of those navigating their own battles. Unfortunately, the tides will not permit a morning swim this year, but the sunrise will be just as special.
Join us for a guided stretch from the lovely Wendy’s from XS Pilates Studio, gentle walk sunrise walk and fresh brews from Karratha favourite Gypsy Soul Coffee!
We ask that you bring a donation along with you on the day of whatever you can afford, there will be QR codes set up that will be directly linked to Dakotas go fund me - visit
