What is The Field?
"The Field" is a commonly used phrase among facilitators to describe the invisible yet palpable energy of a group space. This year-long training is an advanced education in how to perceive, attune to, and guide that field— especially in transformational settings focused on embodiment, intimacy, healing, and conscious education.
You will learn how to read the energy of a room, facilitate from your nervous system, and respond in real-time to what’s emergent. This training combines practical skills, deep embodiment, and soul-level purpose work. You’ll leave with the confidence, tools, and lived experience to become a skilled, present, and attuned group facilitator.
✦✦✦
Why Facilitate "The Field"?
When a group gathers —regulated, open-hearted, and in service to something greater— a powerful collective resonance emerges. This is where the magic happens.
Facilitating that magic isn’t about controlling the space. It’s about becoming the space.
It requires:
໑ Grounded presence and strong boundaries
໑ Fluid, moment-to-moment responsiveness
໑ Nervous system intelligence
໑ Devotion to emergence over agenda
໑ Deep listening through the body
This work calls us into wholeness. It’s not just about how you lead— it’s about who you become in the process.
✦✦✦
Why This Work Matters
We are living in times of profound change. Systems are dissolving, and new ways of being are emerging through us.
The ability to create authentic, attuned, and relational spaces is no longer a luxury— it’s essential. Whether you’re a coach, therapist, teacher, healer, parent, artist, entrepreneur, or leader— learning to work with group field dynamics will serve every aspect of your life.
Field Facilitation develops your capacity to:
໑ Listen deeply and respond from presence
໑ Lead with humility, courage, and clarity
໑ Navigate complexity and emergence with grace
໑ Create spaces that support authenticity, transformation, and connection
These are the leadership capacities the world is calling for— within families, organizations, communities, and movements.
✦✦✦
What You'll Learn
This training is designed to support both aspiring and experienced facilitators to:
໑ Lead emergent group spaces where nervous systems synchronize and hearts cohere
໑ Listen and respond to what the group field is inviting, moment-to-moment
໑ Balance leadership with surrender to the mystery
໑ Bring your facilitation gifts into form through structure, marketing, and delivery
໑ Work collaboratively with others to co-create powerful transformational events
You’ll explore how to facilitate from the body, hold space for relational truth, and steward the unseen dynamics of the field with integrity.
✦✦✦
What to Expect
This immersive journey includes:
Five in-person, week-long modules held at Ängsbacka throughout the year
Each module blends:
໑ Experiential exercises
໑ Embodiment practices
໑ Live facilitation labs
໑ Teaching sessions
໑ Group co-creation and integration
There is no online curriculum included in this edition of the training. However, participants will have the opportunity to join the separate Field Online Trauma-Informed Facilitator Training if they wish to deepen in this area alongside the in-person work.
✦✦✦
Is This Training for You?
This journey is for you if:
໑ You’re an emerging or established facilitator ready to expand your capacity
໑ You long to lead in a way that is soulful, embodied, and deeply relational
໑ You are ready to do your personal work as you grow your professional skillset
By the end of this training, you’ll be walking with more confidence, clarity, and congruence. You’ll know your medicine. You’ll trust your facilitation. And you’ll have the experience and tools to create transformational spaces in service to a new world.

❂ Training Outline ❂
The Field Facilitator Training consists of 5 in-person, week-long modules (250 hours) and culminates in a Festival the group will contribute to.
The Arc of the Journey: 5 Module Overview
໑ Module 1: October 6-12, 2025 ໑
The Ground: Rooted Presence – Embodiment & Relational Intelligence
Facilitated by Rachel Rickards and Dev Bry
This foundational module centers embodiment and relational presence as the essential ground for facilitation. We begin by anchoring into our own somatic intelligence and exploring interpersonal dynamics through nervous system awareness and the art of being with what is. Together, we’ll set the group field and explore what it means to find our “seat” as a Field Facilitator. Through somatic practices, breath, choice awareness, and the sacred dance of playfulness, reverence, stillness, and motion, we explore how to include what’s happening within and around us. We’ll learn to track both personal processes and the impersonal energy of the field, explore sources of power and dynamics, and discover how to live on the edge of life emerging. We’ll attune to how passion, desire, and emergence flow through our bodies as facilitators.
໑ Module 2: December 8-14, 2025 ໑
The Container: Sacred Structure – Architecture of Transformational Group Fields
Facilitated by Rachel Rickards and Robin Alfred
In this module, we move into the structure and energetics of creating transformational group spaces. You’ll learn to design and hold containers that support safety, authenticity, coherence, and emergence. We’ll explore space holding, framing, timing, and the principles that allow fields to deepen and synchronize. Alongside this, we’ll practice radical presence —including awareness of ancestral and collective energies— and develop ways to sense and balance structure with emergence. We’ll examine triggers, fears, and biases and how to integrate them as facilitators. We’ll also explore the power of co-facilitation, group coherence, and how to build appropriate support systems such as intervision and supervision.
໑ Module 3: March 23-39, 2026 ໑
The Pulse: Emergence in Motion – Practicum I & Emergent Facilitation
Facilitated by Rachel Rickards and Pamela von Sabljar
This module blends advanced field facilitation with the group's first opportunity to facilitate their own workshops. With Rachel and Pamela guiding from a train-the-trainer lens, we’ll explore emergent interbeing, intersubjective awareness, and how to lead from spaciousness, creative tension, and psychoactive questions. We’ll work with minimal viable structures, clarify desired outcomes, and learn to attune to power dynamics, context awareness, and feedback as fuel for growth. You’ll begin the journey of articulating your own facilitation through practice, observation, feedback and reflection in a highly supportive environment.
໑ Module 4: May 18-24, 2025 ໑
The Voice: Embodied Mastery – Practicum II, Circlework & Resonant Leadership
Facilitated by Rachel Rickards and Christian Pankhurst
This second practicum builds on the peer-led sessions from Module 3 and introduces advanced facilitation through the lens of Heart iQ and circlework. We’ll deepen into the relational field—exploring how to invite truth, amplify what’s alive, and hold space for the unspoken with presence and precision. You’ll be introduced to transformational group formats like Grief Circles, Relational Circles, and Emergent Circles, and refine your facilitation through feedback and witnessing. This is your opportunity to embody mature, attuned leadership and step forward with clarity and grace.
໑ Module 5: July or August 2026 FINAL DATES TBA ໑ (10 days)
The Offering: The Field Festival – Celebration, Contribution & Completion
Facilitated by Rachel Rickards & Team
The culmination of the journey. Module 5 takes place during the next Field Festival at Ängsbacka. Those who have integrated the teachings and demonstrated their readiness will be invited to facilitate as part of the festival program. Others will contribute in vital roles such as emotional support, production, assistance, or creative collaboration. This festival is a co-created celebration and living embodiment of everything we’ve cultivated together.
