Presented by International Cultural Arts Network (ICAN) in partnership with UH West O‘ahu, Kaiāulu, Zippy’s, Good Vibez Presents, and Visionize Media

Join us for a free 2-day, in-person masterclass designed for photographers, videographers, and creative storytellers who want to build a career in music media.

Hosted at the University of Hawai‘i – West O‘ahu, this program will cover the essentials of concert and festival photography/videography, backstage etiquette, workflow, and real-world applications in the music industry. Participants will receive hands-on training and a chance to apply their skills in live music settings.

Dates:

• Friday, October 10, 2025 – Session 1
• Sunday, October 12, 2025 - Session 2

Time: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Check-in starts at 9:00am)

Location: University of Hawai‘i – West O‘ahu

• Learn directly from Antonio J. Agosto, touring media professional and founder of Visionize Media
• Gain practical skills in concert and festival coverage
• Explore professional etiquette, workflow, and crew communication
• Connect with fellow creatives and industry mentors
• Select participants will be invited to apply their training at the Holoholo Music Festival and other upcoming events

Hands-On Learning at Holoholo Music Festival

We’re excited to announce that students of The Art of Music Media Masterclass will have the rare opportunity to bring their training into a live festival environment.

On October 18–19, 2025, at the Bishop Museum, select students will join Visionize Media at the Holoholo Music Festival for hands-on experience.

• 10 students will be chosen in total: 5 for Day 1 and 5 for Day 2.
• Students will gain real-world training on how to cover a music festival, network with industry professionals, and learn proper media etiquette in the field.
• Participants will have creative freedom to shoot under the guidance of Visionize Media.

To be considered, you must:

• Attend both days of the Masterclass (October 10 + 12)
• Be fully registered and complete the required portfolio submission for review

Selected participants will be notified during the Masterclass. All students must bring their own gear for Holoholo.
