For anyone in the community, age 12 and up. Students need to have prior knowledge of basic sewing skills to enroll in this class.
$30 for all three weekly sessions to complete the course.
The 3 weekly sessions are continuous, from start to completing a project, so plan to attend all three sessions.
Class Instructor: Abigail Ruta is our program staff and is studying Fashion Merchandise and Design at the Johnson County Community College, Kansas.
You will learn:
Session 1: Basic pattern-making and measurement.
Session 2: How to use patterns and cut fabric.
Session 3: How to sew the finished project.
We will provide all the material and sewing supplies for the first 3 sessions. After the 3 sessions, if you want more training, you can enroll in a future class.
All the proceeds from the tickets will go to support our community programs.
