To close out the Empowerment Festival, we’re throwing the wildest, most joy-soaked dance party Kansas City has ever seen -- and you’re invited.

This dance party is likely going to be unlike anything you've been to before -- in fact, maybe we should just call it what it is, which is a once-in-a-lifetime queer magic ritual disguised as a dance party. Plus, DJ Kinzie is making their debut so you know it's gonna be fun and a little weird. You ready?? ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
All bodies and genders welcome; come for as long or as short of a time as you want to. Deliberately scheduled so you can come dance before your evening plans begin -- or so that you can be home and tucked into bed by 10 if that's more your vibe.
✨ Dress Code ✨ Turn up the volume because this isn't just any old dance party. It’s your chance to wear that outfit you’ve been dying to wear but never had the place for. Sequins, lingerie, harnesses, fairy wings, neon jumpsuits, drag looks, or your comfiest sweatpants covered in glitter. If it makes you feel alive and exactly like yourself: you belong in it here.
I (Kinzie) have a feeling I'll start a bit more fully clothed and then transition into..... something else. Haven't figured it out yet. Might peruse the Client Lingerie Closet. 👀
You're welcome to bring something tasty to drink, or a lil' something to smoke out on the front porch, as long as you stay cute about it and have a safe way to get home.
So grab something gender-affirming to wear (this is a safe space to express yourself all the way, or try something on to see how it feels), throw on some makeup or glitter if you wanna, slip some lingerie (whatever that looks like to you!) on underneath your clothes if you feel like it, and ....... let's have a REALLY AMAZING TIME TOGETHER.

♿️ Accessibility notes: We won't be requiring masks for this event, but we'll have some cute tie dye KN95s available for you if you'd like one. We'll be running a HEPA filter for the entire event. There's a bathroom on the first floor, but it's not wheelchair accessible. There are stairs leading up to the studio; let us know if you'd like to come in through our ramp entrance and we'll hook you up!
