Community Clothing Swap

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘄𝗮𝗽?
A clothing swap is a free, community-led event where we exchange gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories. It’s a great way to refresh your wardrobe, reduce waste, and connect with neighbors—no money involved, just sharing and caring!

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
• No need to donate to participate—this is all about community care!
• Please bring only clean, gently used items.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗜𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀:
1. Prepare Your Contributions: Sort through your closet and bring clean, gently used clothes and accessories. Hangers are helpful!
2. Drop Off & Donate: Bring your items early on Oct 11 (preferred) or on the event day, Oct 18.
3. Shop the Community Closet: Find new-to-you items for free—just take what you need!
4. Extend the Impact: Leftover items will be donated to Historic Northeast KC organizations.

✔️ Gently worn or new clothing (no major stains, rips, or odors)
✔️ Tops, shirts, sweaters
✔️ Pants, jeans, shorts
✔️ Dresses, skirts, jumpsuits
✔️ Jackets, coats, blazers
✔️ Shoes (clean, good condition)
✔️ Accessories (hats, scarves, belts, ties, sunglasses)

❌ Dirty, stained, torn, or overly worn clothing
❌ Undergarments unless new in packaging
❌ Swimsuits unless new with tags
❌ Single shoes or broken footwear
❌ Items with strong odors
❌ Personalized/monogrammed items
❌ Jewelry or hair accessories
❌ Broken accessories
❌ Used makeup or personal hygiene items
