Through the passive floor based stillness of yin and the active movement of yang youβll learn how to balance these two energies, mentally and physically.
βYin in Motionβ has receptive, passive and contractive aspects of movement, which can transform into its opposite, βYang β(active, expansive motion) underscoring that even in motion there is mindfulness, stillness and surrender.
At its core this practice targets the deeper connective tissues of the body, encouraging a deep release and increased flexibility.
Yoga is rooted in mindfulness and βyin in motionβ cultivates the mindful moments of stillness that allow the parasympathetic nervous system to rise up, to calm the mind and relax the body.
