Corey LaJoie’s Kickball Klassic V is back—and bigger than ever. Hosted by The Rowan-Cabarrus YMCA (Kannapolis branch) in partnership with Main Attraction Recreational Sports (MARS), this high-stakes, high-energy tournament is bringing together elite kickball talent from across the nation to compete for $50,000 in cold, hard cash.
But it’s not just about the competition—this event gives back. Proceeds will benefit two incredible causes: the YMCA and Samaritan’s Feet, helping empower communities through wellness, outreach, and support.
Expect intense gameplay, an electric atmosphere, and unforgettable moments—all while making a real difference. Whether you're lacing up to compete or showing up to cheer, this is one kickball event you do not want to miss.
The tournament format will feature 48 total teams across three divisions:

All participants and captains are expected to adhere to the following rules without exception. Failure to comply will result in immediate disqualification and/or removal from the event.
This is a two-day event!
Saturday, 10/4/25-Coed Advanced and Coed Intermediate divisions will compete in pool play.
Sunday, 10/5/25- The action heats up with single-elimination games for both divisions."
Sunday, 10/5/25-All Corporate division games will be played.
1. Team Roster Cap – 15 Players Maximum
ABSOLUTE LIMIT: Each team roster is capped at 15 total players.
NO EXCEPTIONS. Once your roster reaches 15 players, no further additions are permitted under any circumstances.
2. Division Eligibility – Advanced Player Restrictions
INTERMEDIATE DIVISION IS RESTRICTED.
Any player classified as “Advanced” is strictly prohibited from competing in the Intermediate Division.
ADVANCED PLAYER CLASSIFICATION:
Any player who has competed for an Advanced Team in a Turf Wars tournament within the last 36 months is considered Advanced.
This includes participation in any Turf Wars event prior to the Corey Lajoie Kickball tournament.
ZERO TOLERANCE: Rosters found in violation will result in the entire team’s removal from the Intermediate Division, with no refunds.
3. Team Fee Payment
The total team fee may be:
Divided equally among all rostered players, and/or
Paid in two installments (split payment option).
NOTE: All payment deadlines must be met in full. Late or incomplete payments will result in forfeiture of your team’s entry.

1st place - $15,000
2nd place - $10,000
3rd place - $ 5,000
4th place - $ 2,500
b. Co-Ed Intermediate
· Underhand pitching
· Highly competitive
· Total Prize Pool = $17,500
1st place - $ 7,500
2nd place - $ 5,000
3rd place - $ 3,500
4th place - $ 1,500
c. Corporate/Rec =
· Roster cap
· Underhand pitching
· Social and corporate team
· No cash prize
