Pop-Up Theatre @ ARTSLAB

ARTSLAB POP-UP event: TOMORROW morning Sat 4th October 10-11am.

The ARTSLAB warmly invites you to join us at Upper River Hall where the 2025 Shark Island Story Assembly theatre artists will be doing a one-hour Viewpoints movement improvisation practice. This group of talented creatives are staying at Shark Island this week, making a new work under the direction of Sam Chester, who is also our new Residency Director at Shark Island Kangaroo Valley. The final work will be premiered at the end of February 2026 at The ARTSLAB. So, come along on Saturday and see some of the process behind the work as these eight actors and internationally awarded composer Ekrem Eli Phoenix explore the hall for the first time using a shared improvisational toolkit. There will be cups of tea and a chance to ask questions after. All ages welcome. FREE event.
