About the event

Hoʻi i Ka Hale III
Join us for Hoʻi I Ka Hale III—a powerful gathering uplifting Native Hawaiian healing and the ʻOhana.

About this Event

Hoʻi I Ka Hale III is not just a conference—it is a declaration. A bold and welcoming call to our allies, advocates, and partners across every sector to gather in collective strength and shared responsibility. This year’s theme, “Hawaiʻi 78,” is a deliberate invocation of the 1978 Hawaiʻi Constitutional Convention and the Hawaiian Renaissance—a time marked by resurgence, reclamation, and the reaffirmation of ancestral values.

That era asked us to return—to reactivate our minds, our hearts, and our commitments to kuleana, ʻohana, and community leadership. Today, we return not for nostalgia, but for accountability.

We ask: Have our systems honored the vision of our kūpuna? Are we creating true safety and healing, or still surviving on short-term solutions? What new tools—rooted in the old truths we still carry—must we now forge?

Hoʻi I Ka Hale III invites all who serve, support, and uplift our lāhui to step into the house. Over four days of ceremony, cultural grounding, trainings, and celebration, we will examine what must be healed, protected, and reimagined—together—to create safe futures for Hawaiʻi and beyond. Join us September 16th-19th 2025!

Day 1 kicks off with early check-in, an opening ceremony, and our Pasifika Panel, where voices from across Moananuiākea come together to share on cultural issues, healing, and solidarity.

Days 2 & 3 are dedicated to training and education, featuring panels, presentations, and interactive workshops across four tracks: Culture, Education & Family Safety; Policy & Advocacy; Research & Data; and Leadership. Networking luncheons will be provided on both days.

Day 4 features the Closing Ceremony for Hoʻi I Ka Hale III and special presentations by Pouhana’s leadership. The day concludes with the Pouhana o Hawaiʻi Awards & Networking Dinner—an evening to uplift and honor community pillars who are forging powerful pathways for Hawaiʻi and beyond. Please note: Day 4 requires a separate ticket .
