Yahangala Hike..
Yahangala is found in the Hunnasgiri mountain range.
Named for its resemblance to a bed or couch. According to legend, King Ravana hid Goddess Sita there, and it is also believed that his unconscious body is buried at Yahangala after the battle with Rama. The god Gale Bandara, who is said to have resided there, helped to boost paddy farming in the area. Located southeast of the Knuckles range, Yahangala is a prominent landmark with an open area of about two to three acres at the top. The mountain’s shape and location make it easily visible from afar.
