Welcome to our Introduction to Computing Course. This is designed to take you from no knowledge at all to competent user in six classes. We will have samples of several operating systems for you to use and practice on. Each session is one hour in length. The ticket price for this event is 35$.
By the end of this lesson, the learner will be able to:
Correctly turn a computer on and off.
Use a mouse and keyboard for basic navigation.
Identify the desktop, start menu, and open a simple program (e.g., web browser).
Expect to learn proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Mac clients.
Coffee, Tea, and Sugar Free Sodas(Courtesy of Simps Syrups) will be provided free at the beginning and at first break.
Additional snacks will be available from concession.
