Samhain 2025

The Garden of the Crescent Moon Coven is pleased to announce that we will be celebrating Samhain on Saturday Nov 1st from 5:30pm-midnight at the Coven House in Kalispell. This is an OPEN event and child friendly. We will be having an Ancestor Altar to honor our departed loved ones and be participating in a Ritual event to travel to the Ancestral Hall to find and interact with a Wise and Well Ancestor. Please bring memento's, personal items or pictures of your loved ones that have passed on to add to the Altar and PLEASE remember to take these home with you! This is also a costume event so feel free to dress up and impress us all with your creative/artistic talent!! Just remember we will be outside for Ritual, so dress for the weather, as well! If it is too inclement (raining) we will have the new Temple Room area and the large pole barn available for Ritual. Please bring a Potluck food item to share, the theme is meat and garden/root vegetables, so Brussel sprouts, beets, carrots, onions, garlic, squash, corn, apples, beans, peppers, tomatoes and other fall garden produce is appropriate for side dishes. Beef, pork and fresh game meat is also appropriate. Get creative! Divination is also a large part of the Samhain activities so bring your Cards or Runes or Crystal balls, Pendulums, etc. as well as your drums and other musical instruments to play and sing around the Fire later on! Lawn chairs would be helpful as well, if you have them. Looking forward to seeing everyone!!
