Walk to honour brave hearts.
Two Feet & A Heartbeat is a 4km walk, symbolising the four lives lost to childhood-onset heart disease (CoHD) each week in Australia, and held in honour of all children living with CoHD. Participants can also choose to walk 8km, representing the eight babies born with a heart condition every day.
This annual event is held in 30 locations across Australia, in capital cities and regional communities. Whether you join an organised event or walk in your own time with the virtual option, everyone is welcome to take part.
Walking together with purpose.
Participants walk side by side with HeartKids' families and every walker carries a coloured flag.
• Blue is carried by those living with CoHD
• Red is carried by those walking in support, and
• White is carried by those walking in memory of a Heart Angel.
The walk commences with a period of silence in memory of our Heart Angels, family members we have lost. A true sense of community surrounds the day as families enjoy picnics, family friendly activities and lite refreshments following the walk.
