With a smoky voice and intimate, powerful lyricism, singer/songwriter Tali Snowden brings a captivating gravity to every stage she graces. Hailing from Austin, Texas and now based in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, Snowden’s musical roots run deep — weaving blues, jazz, hard rock, and psychedelia into her signature acoustic-driven sound.
After debuting her first solo EP in 2024, Tali returns with “Keep Trying,” a soulful new single that captures the persistence and emotional honesty defining this next phase of her artistry. The track embodies her evolution as a songwriter — rooted in grit, growth, and the courage to keep creating through change.
Snowden first turned heads with an inspired rendition of her original “Weight of the World,” earning the Judge’s Choice Award at the 15th Annual My 104.3, Buck 92, and My Michigan Podcasts Hometown Showdown.
Before launching her solo career, Tali fronted the acclaimed group Life Size Ghost, where she served as lead vocalist and keyboardist. With LSG, she released multiple EPs, toured extensively across Michigan, Texas, New York, Tennessee, and Illinois, and shared bills with a range of national acts. Her work with the band earned her Best Rock Keyboardist, Best Female Rock Vocalist, Best New Artist of the Year, and Most Innovative Artist at the 25th Annual Review Music Awards.
A multi-instrumentalist fluent in drums, piano, guitar, bass, and trumpet, Snowden continues a rich musical lineage — from learning piano from her mother and guitar from her father to performing in award-winning jazz ensembles. Her artistry reflects a lifelong commitment to crafting songs that speak to resilience and connection.
