Ready to sail into one of the funniest, quirkiest shows to ever hit the stage? We’re looking for bold, hilarious, and musically adventurous souls ages 16 -106 to audition for Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance — with a modern twist.
This show is funny. Like, laugh-out-loud, witty wordplay meets sketch comedy funny. And this version? It’s not your grandmother’s Pirates. We’re ditching the dusty opera vibes for a fresh take—think pop, rock, musical theatre, rap, barbershop, whatever you’ve got. We welcome all vocal styles and are not looking for trained opera singers. We are looking for big personalities, fearless comedy, unique voices, and performers ready to play with style, character, and genre. If you’ve got timing, energy, and an open mind, we want you aboard.
