Intro To Pottery

Curious about pottery? This 7-week Intro to Pottery class is the perfect place to start. Designed for beginners, this hands-on course introduces students to the fundamentals of wheel-throwing and basic hand-building techniques in a relaxed, supportive studio environment.

Over the course of seven weeks, students will learn how to center clay, throw basic forms such as bowls and cylinders, trim finished pieces, and apply glazes. Instruction also covers clay preparation, studio tools, and proper firing processes. Each class builds on the previous week, allowing time to practice skills and develop confidence at the wheel.

All levels are welcome, no prior experience required. By the end of the session, students will leave with several finished, functional ceramic pieces and a solid foundation to continue their pottery journey.
