Join us Wednesday, September 17th at 3PM in the Adrian Trimpe Building for a presentation and discussion about autism and how that interacts with queerness. Discussions will be inclusive of all types of autistic folks, ranging from early diagnosed, to late diagnosed, to undiagnosed. Will be considerate of other experiences such as non or semi-vocal autistic folks, AFAB autistic folks, autistic women, and autistic people of color. Our aim is to give a voice to underrepresented communities, and this also includes identities such as polyamory, xenogenders, the aro/ace community, the trans+ community, and people who use neopronouns. Join us as we explore how autism interacts with these identities, learn why autistic folks are more likely to identify as queer, and learn about identities that extend beyond LGBT.
