An important occasion is approaching. We warmly invite you all to the unveiling of our parent, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin, beloved friend, Sam Williams (Hami Tamehana Hare), on Saturday, 21 February 2026, at Roiho Urupā.
This will be a time to honour him and also to come together once more as a united whānau. We look forward to gathering, sharing memories, and embracing one another with love.
Details of the event:
Powhiri (Welcome Ceremony): Friday, 20 February at Kohewhata Marae (time to be confirmed. Accommodation available at the marae for all who need it).
Hura Kōhatu (Unveiling Ceremony): Saturday, 21 February, 10.00am at Roiho Urupā.
Followed by the Hakari with waiata me te kanikani.
