Bourekas
Join Noy to learn how to make bourekas - a beloved staple in Israeli cuisine, brought by Jewish communities from the Balkans and the Middle East.
These flaky pastries, often filled with cheese or potatoes, are found in nearly every bakery and market stall across the country. What makes them special is not just their crispy, golden layers, but the way they reflect Israelโs rich cultural mosaic. Served with fresh Israeli salad and tangy pickles, bourekas are a nostalgic comfort food that captures the flavours of home and the warmth of shared traditions.
