The Annual Food Festival & Farmers Market is Juneau's premiere end-of-season event, focusing on local food, crafts, and sustainability. This market fosters sufficiency by bringing together consumers, growers, and producers of local foods with the intent of encouraging local sustainability through backyard gardening and small-business initiatives. The market also offers an opportunity for non-profits to raise awareness and funds through the sale of produce, baked goods, crafts, & other items made from locally harvested ingredients.
