Raised between Topeka and Abilene, Dallas grew up singing everywhere he went. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, he returned home, guitar in hand, and built a career rooted in hard work, heartfelt songwriting, and a love for the Great Plains. Out of those roots came The Lazy Wayne Band, a powerhouse group known for 100+ shows a year, opening for national acts, and delivering gritty red-dirt country with soul.
In 2025, Dallas stepped out front with his debut single “Woman Like You”—but fans will know the band at his back is still The Lazy Wayne Band, carrying on the name and legacy they’ve built together.
