The Joplin Health Department is holding a ️Friends and Family® CPR class on 10-29-25 from 9am to noon. Location is the Joplin Health Department, 321 East 4th Street, WIC classroom, Joplin, MO.
The Friends & Family® CPR course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, adult CPR with breaths, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR, and mild and severe airway block for adults, children and infants.
Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique. This provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible. This course does not include a certification upon completion.
This is a great class for those wanting to learn CPR and choking management, such as babysitters or new parents.
Participants must be 12+ to participate. Parent/guardian must stay with underage participants.
