Main Street Brews and Tunes will host musical guest Lucille Klement on Sunday, September 28, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the Plaza of the International Storytelling Center. Wetzel’s Pretzel’s food truck will be on site, along with local brews from Main Street Café.
The band Lucille Klement is an indie rock/alt rock band from Johnson City, Tennessee. The lead singer of the band, Maggie Woodall, said she found inspiration and fell in love with music in Lucille Klement, a dormitory building at East Tennessee State University. Their music combines atmospheric guitar work, catchy melodies, and lyrics to create a sound that is both immersive and accessible.
This event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to ensure seating. Food and Brews will start serving at 4 p.m. with music beginning at 5 p.m. There will be rotating food trucks and brews on tap each week.
Yoga in the Park takes place during Brews & Tunes at 4 p.m. in Jimmy Neil Smith Park behind the International Storytelling Center. This week’s teacher will be Nicole Aurilio.
