Johnson City Arts Center, Mountain Home Ballroom, and the Science Hill Chamber Orchestra are excited to present "Clara's Tea," an afternoon of Nutcracker-themed delights! Guests will be served a variety of teas alongside an assortment of sweet treats.
The tea party will feature a live, interactive retelling of the classic Christmas ballet, The Nutcracker. Dancers from Johnson City Arts Center and Mountain Home Ballroom will dance with the live musical performance of the Science Hill Chamber Orchestra, presenting excerpts from the ballet's Land of Sweets. The afternoon will culminate in a grand waltz with guests and dancers alike.
This event is appropriate for guests of all ages. Children ages 12 and below must be accompanied by an adult. Guests are invited to "dress up," but it is not required!
Due to the nature of the sweets provided, Johnson City Arts Center cannot guarantee against cross-contamination of allergens, including nuts, dairy, and gluten. Any guests with allergies are advised to use discretion in participating with this activity. Teas provided will include caffeinated and herbal varieties. A menu containing allergen information can be provided upon request.
Tickets are limited and will be on sale October 1 - November 15. Each ticket is $20 and can be bought online at ticketsource.us/jcartscenter. Registration is required; no tickets will be sold at the door.
