Nutrition Links: a six-week Free Nutrition Course for Families

Join this free program and work with Penn State Extension Nutrition Education Advisors to complete lessons featuring healthy eating tips covering smart shopping, food preparation, and delicious recipes for families with children or grandchildren. Receive a certificate of completion when you attend all lessons.

This six-week course will take place on the 2nd Floor of the Cambria County Library in the Children's Department on the following dates: October 9, 16, 23, and 30 and November 6 and 13.

This course is presented by Tammy Garrett of Penn State Nutrition Links. Supplemental activities provided by the United Way, Nurse Family Partnership, and Cambria County Library for children who need to attend the class with their parent/guardian. Ingredients to make recipes at home and one kitchen small appliance (blender, croc pot, electric skillet or water filter) per family will be given upon completion of the program, courtesy of Nurse Family Partnership and the United Way.
