This workshop is for the beginner who wants to learn how to sew using a sewing machine. You
will gain an understanding of basic sewing terminology. Will learn the difference between
pressing fabric and ironing. You’ll learn how to use a rotary cutter properly to avoid accidently
cutting yourself. Plus you will gain confidence on threading a sewing machine and winding a
bobbin. While making a beautiful tote bag to take with you at the end of the workshop.
The sewing room is located on the second floor and the studio has 3 straight stitch industrial
sewing machines available to use, however it is encouraged for you to bring your own if you
have one.
Material kits ($10) are available to purchase at class (as shown in pic) or you can email at
